The Banned in Boston Book Club
“The Banned in Boston Book Club” Christine Shively Benjamin I am very concerned about the efforts to ban books. My book club in Carson City is responsible for 90% of the pets that I have looked after for the last 8 years or so. I have woven the two concepts together for this piece. The girl is holding my book club friend Marie’s schnauzer Bella Grace and she’s reading Fahrenheit 451. The hat is Alice in Wonderland to represent the craziness of banning books. And Alice in Wonderland has occasionally been on banned book lists.
