Over skirt and wing shapes in the center of the over shirt,  has circular cut work backed with the Norwegian wool.  Small wool felt birds, leaves and seed beads create a three dimensional element. Border on the over skirt is vintage trim work. A spray of wool felt leaves, flowers and floral wire form a kind of crown around her face. Vintage lace slip under the dress, and vintage cotton bloomers. Arms are outstretched with wings that echo the image of the women in the Welty photograph.
