The Banned in Boston Book Club

The Calico cat is Sparkle and she is reading Of Mice and Men. The mice

 listening to the story are confused because there aren’t actually any mice

 in the story. The gray French bulldog is my friend Lana’s dog Bella. Since 

dogs like to chew on shoes, she has the ruby slipper in her mouth.
